چکیده

This paper focuses on the analysis of a free energy functional, that models dilute suspension magnetic nanoparticles in two-dimensional nematic well. The first part article is devoted to asymptotic global minimizers limit vanishing elastic constant, ℓ→0 where re-scaled constant ℓ inversely proportional domain area. results concern strong H1-convergence and ℓ-independent H2-bound for smooth bounded 2D domains, with boundary topologically trivial Dirichlet conditions. second discrete approximation regular solutions corresponding non-linear system partial differential equations cubic non-linearity non-homogeneous We establish (i) existence local uniqueness using fixed point argument, (ii) best result norm, (iii) error estimates L2 norms ℓ-discretization parameter dependency conforming finite element method. Finally, theoretical are complemented by numerical experiments solution profiles, convergence rates corroborates estimates, followed plots illustrate dependence discretization ℓ.

SAW Parameter Extraction Using Finite Element Analysis

Surface acoustic wave devices apart from being small, rugged and reliable can also be used as wirelessly interrogatable and completely passive devices in hostile environments. As complex signal processing functions can be performed with a simple structure through the variation of electrode patterns they can power wireless sensors and actuators in a secure manner. It is important to develop exac...

Analysis of Least Squares Finite Element Methods for A Parameter-Dependent First-Order System

A parameter-dependent rst-order system arising from elasticity problems is introduced. The system corresponds to the 2D isotropic elasticity equations under a stress-pressure-displacement formulation in which the nonnegative parameter measures the material compressibility for the elastic body. Standard and weighted least squares nite element methods are applied to this system, and analyses for ...

Finite Element Analysis for CFST Columns under Blast Loading

The columns of frame structures are the key load-bearing components and the exterior columns are susceptible to attack in terrorist blasts. When subjected to blast loads, the columns would suffer a loss of bearing capacity to a certain extent due to the damage imparted which may lead to their collapse and even cause the progressive collapse of the whole structure . The concrete-filled steel col...

A New Stress Based Approach for Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis

This article demonstrates a new approach for nonlinear finite element analysis. The methodology is very suitable and gives very accurate results in linear as well as in nonlinear range of the material behavior. Proposed methodology can be regarded as stress based finite element analysis as it is required to define the stress distribution within the structural body with structural idealization a...

An analysis of finite element locking in a parameter dependent model problem

Weconsider the bilinear finite element approximation of smooth solutions to a simple parameter dependent elliptic model problem, the problem of highly anisotropic heat conduction. We show that under favorable circumstances that depend on both the finite elementmesh and on the type of boundary conditions, the effect of parametric locking of the standard FEM can be reduced by a simple variational...
